Can you provide more information on where the financial data is stored? Also, unless there is good reason to import the data into MSP, you could use Power BI to pull the data, develop your reports and skip the import process.
@RFromm Thanks for the reply. The financial data is available in excel. It is important that expenses are documented within the task and for the particular resource that they are incurred. Currently, I enter the cost for each item purchased manually into the task. I am not very familiar with Power BI and how I can use it to achieve that.
