Conditional Font formatting on Reports

Brass Contributor

Hello,

I am a long time MS Project user but I have to admit I have never bothered to look at the Reports feature as I simply found it easier to use views.

But now I'm looking at a report which was easily created with a table. The issue I'm having is that in a view I can have text formatting that is conditional upon the task being on the critical path (or a milestone, etc). I haven't found a way of doing this in a report, so is there a way of doing this?

Thank You

Sorry, I should have added I'm using Project 2016 Standard

Hi @Gilgamesh1964 ,

I guess you are refering to the report tab in the ribbon? As far as I know, there is no conditional formatting in those reports. That being said, once your report is done for a given project, you don't have to redo it every time, so you'd have to do the formatting just once. Otherwise you might use the Visual reports which are static Excel extract/reports allowing you doing conditionnal formatting directly in Excel.

Hope this helps.
