Changing amount to MIllion

Is there any way to cenvert an amount to Million in the cost field? I am unable to do the same. I am working on MS Project ver 2016.

What exactly do you mean, "convert an amount to million"? Project is designed to handle 999,999,999,999.99 in any cost field. An example with a screen shot would help us help you.

@John-projectThanks for Responding.... My question is suppose i have a cost field where the amount is showing as "₹ 12,919,957,000.00". Now i want this amount to be shown as 12919.96 Million... I can do this Excel.... But how do i do this in MS Projects 2016?

You can also do it in Project but you'll have to use a Text field (e.g. Text1), but it can't be shown that way in any Cost field.

Hi Jan.

You can try to put Million in the options (File/ Options/ Display/ Currency Symbol = Million), but you would have to enter or paste the values.
