We did add customized fields to Project for the Web via Power Apps, but we cannot find a way to show those customized fields in the user interface (project.microsoft.com).
Unfortunately it is not possible to surface new fields created in the Power Apps Dataverse UI in the Project for the web project.micorosoft.com UI. You can only surface these new fields in the Power Apps apps (Model driven app etc.).
