Not allowing end users to create and define calendars basically makes Project for web useless for large enterprises, whose admins could be left with hundreds or thousands of requests to create and modify calendars.

Maybe you guys intend for Project to be only for small businesses, and I can see it being great for that. For me in a company of over 30,000 people? Not very helpful.

Project for the web fills a specific role and we are confident it will evolve over time to include more sophisticated features. That said, there are certainly use cases to continue using MS Project and other scenarios where tight integration with AzureDevOps or JIRA are needed.
