Happy Friday everyone!

Brandon Wilson here coming out of the woodwork to point out a nice little nugget you should know on Azure Security Center CSV reports going GA, written by Bruno Gabrielli, and posted over on our sister TechCommunity/blog, the Core Infrastructure and Security TechCommunity, which is the new home of numerous other blogs and has some excellent content. I highly recommend checking it out!

The main/primary content can be found here: Be Aware, Azure Security Center CSV Reports is Now Generally Available!

This isn’t a deep dive into the function mind you, just an overview that its now available. I’m sure we’ll see more in the future from various authors across the numerous TechCommunities and beyond. Here’s a little snip from Bruno’s article to wet your whistle:

Today I came across an interesting news directly from the Product Group. After quite some time, one of the most-asked/wanted feature request by customers on Azure Security Center (ASC) was completed and finally released. Yes, this feature is now Generally Available or GA.

What am I talking about? The wonderful “Download CSV report” button that, as of February 2020 the 19th, you can see in both Recommendations and Security Alerts pages.

So, go check it out, have a peek, and stay tuned for more cool announcements and content from the Premier Field Engineering TechCommunity in the near future!

Thanks for reading, and we’ll talk later!

The download to CSV function is great, but suffers from the common malady that MS restrict the number of subscriptions the operation works over to 60 so if you operate within a large enterprise with more than 60 subs you have to fiddle the filters to get groups of data, and also the filters do not respect management groups.
