Convert PDF to Excel

Occasional Visitor

I receive pdf attachments to a SharePoint group email. I need to automate the conversion of the PDF to excel. Does anybody have a tool that can convert PDFs to excel files?

Thank You!

Not sure how this would be automated, but if you have Adobe Acrobat you can do this Open a file in Acrobat DC. Click on the “Export PDF” tool in the right pane. Choose “spreadsheet” as your export format, and then select “Microsoft Excel Workbook.” Click “Export.” If your PDF contains scanned text, Acrobat will run text recognition automatically. Save as new file: Name your file and click the “Save” button. That’s it.

As you want to convert PDF to Excel automatically by using the tool. I would like to suggest you Mac PDF Converter Tool. This PDF Converter for Mac converts all your PDF files into different file formats including Excel, DOC, Word, TXT, JPG, etc. Also, it has the option to save PDF attachments separately in a subfolder. It doesn't affect the original data structure of your PDF document & keep data intact. You can use this tool as per your need & requirement.
