Cannot submit flow when SharePoint list item is found through search

Brass Contributor

Hi,

When a SharePoint list item is found through search (directly in the SharePoint list or site), the item is shown as a single item in the list, and that's fine, it’s how it should behave. However, the possibility to initiate a flow on this selected item is not there. We’ve integrated a button in the list column formatting, it shows but doesn’t work either.

Hi @Nikola Nenadovic

Have you tried right click > Flow > select your flow to see if that option is available to you?

I realise it may not be ideal, but if it provides a workaround, it hopefully helps!

@Damien RosarioHey, there's no option to run a flow on right click.

Hi @Nikola Nenadovic

Might be the list permissions. I have some lists that seem to give me the full range of right click options whereas other lists give me limited ones.

Maybe someone else here has another answer?

Hi,

I have full admin rights. I've also tested with users that have site admin rights.

It's definitely a bug, as the rights haven't changed and it used to work.

Hi @Nikola Nenadovic

Would suggest logging a ticket with Microsoft about it then. Appears to be a weird one!

Best wishes with the issue and have a great week/weekend!

Cheers

Hi @Nikola Nenadovic

The same issue here! I agree with you on that's definitely a bug:
