I have enabled modern controls inside our new power apps:-
but i found that modern controls do not have the containers layouts for building responsive power apps:-
so i ended up having modern UI controls inside classic containers as follow:-
is this fine?
second question why some modern controls are shown under "Preview" section? does this mean that those are not final and in preview/experimental stage?
Thanks

Solution@johnjohn-Peter there's no problem having both classic and modern controls in your apps. I view Preview in the menu as being that the modern control is not fully developed yet and more features will come along in due course.
