Creating an event in ET still shows UTC when editing

Brass Contributor

I am creating an event with a flow:

15:00 UTC is currently 11:00 EDT (my personal time zone).  It shows up properly when I view the event:

However, if I edit the event, I see the time converted back to UTC (15:00 = 3:00 PM) and the time zone shows at UTC.

I can click the "Time zones" link which updates the time zone to ET, but not the time.

If I change the input to use my current time zone values for the date time as shown below, I still have the same issue:

2022-09-01T11:00:00-0400
2022-09-01T11:30:00-0400

How do I prevent events created via Flow from having UTC time zone values when in edit mode?

I figured it out. I just needed to remove the time zone information from the start/end times.

@Kirk Liemohn could you explain how you managed to drop the time zone information from the end for those dates?

@Barry_Purdue it has been a long time, but those dates were put in the flow manually, I believe.  So, I would type something like "2022-09-01T11:00:00" into the Start Time or End Time fields on the Create Event (v4) flow activity.
