We no longer see the Planner option to be added as a tab in Teams.

I no longer see the planner app to be added as a tab on Teams. I can confirm that Planner is available via O365. Tried the manage apps as well, still cant seem to find Planner.

The planner app is no longer available but "Tasks by Planner" is what you want to look for. If you want to add a planner, choose the "Website" Action and paste the link to the planner there, it will show up as a tab. Its just Microsoft being Microsoft.
What if you have an existing Planner board you want to connect? Even though "Tasks by Planner" has a radio button to "Use an existing plan", it isn't working for me.
