Moving a Plan from an Adhoc Team to an Organizational Team

Is it possible to move a Planner from an adhoc team to an organizational team (within the same Domain), yet keep it private from the 80+ members on the Organizational Team? This way only select persons can view or receive taskings via email from the Planner. So far the Organizational Team, is private,  has a Planner which is seen by all members. I tried to move/make an additional Planner and keep it Private for only 5 or 6 people to see, but it shows that all 80+ members are in the new planner as well. if you try to delete one, it deletes from the main Team as well. Need some guidence.

I think you are mistaking the teams tab as the plan itself. the Tab is just a viewing construct (sort of like a window into something else - in this case a planner plan). Copying/Moving the tab does nothing to the actual plan behind it.

Regarding your situation, a direct move is not possible currently. However you can copy the plan into the new team using the standalone planner app.

Note: You will lose team specific artifacts such as comments and attachments though.
