Microsoft Planner: How Can I tag somone in Planner Task Commnet?

In Microsoft Planner - we would like to have the ability to tag someone in the comment of a task and as a result would expect that the people tagged would receive a notification\email.

I was wondering if it is possible out of the box. If not  - is there any plan to implement it ? And also if there are any external ad-on that could be used to achieve this

Hi Hasibur, this is currently not a feature.

Wondering if Microsoft monitors these chats? I've noticed this feature and similar - subtasks and assigning checklist items to individuals has been asked for for years, but there seems to be no response from the company.

At the moment Planner is more of an interactive to-do list, it doesn't really function as a project management software.
