Import Task list from Excel to Planner

I have searched for this, seems like the discussion has happened in the past(2018-19), it's end of 2021... has there been any progress on this?

Can we import data/task list from Ms Excel to Microsoft Planner?

Still same situation: No builtin way to crate Tasks from data in Excel file. Of course, this is something that can be done programatically through the Graph API

You need to use the available APIs to get the task details, but I guess it will be difficult to grab the task comments. Simple suggestion would be to us eth third party apps for this.
