We are currently experiencing issues where our tasks are being deleted from a plan. We also are unable to block access to deleting and adding tasks by the members. Is there a way to review why/how/when tasks are being deleted and by whom? Also, is there a way to keep members from accessing the delete function? Lastly, is there a back end way to recover deleted tasks?
@jjackson395 Access control / Audit is not possible in Planner. The deletion of the plan alone is controlled by the owner. Once the task gets deleted, it is deleted forever and can't be restored. You need to use third party apps to back up the planner tasks to excel in certain time intervals and restore when needed.
