Attachments Disappearing in Planner

Does anyone else have this issue when you have created a task in Planner and then come back to review it days, weeks, or even months later and the attachment is no longer on the card?  The file still exists in the SharePoint folder we have set up, but it becomes much more difficult to find the attachment as you need to search through the folder rather than just clicking on the attachment link on the card.  I have not found a solution for this yet and thought to ask the community.  Thank you!
