Ability to tag people within planner

I've noticed discussions asking for this feature dating back years, but I haven't seen any responses from Microsoft. It seems a basic feature for any project management tool. Tagging and/or assigning checklist items (or having subtasks), and the ability to tag in the comments, are such basic features of any PM tool. Planner is an interactive to-do list, it's not useful for PM. @Deleted

@skealy1425 I have figured out how to attach a MS team channel to a premium planner plan and that does enable you to have a conversation with the entire team/channel about a task.  However, I cannot seem to tag a specific person in the chat which certainly defeats the purposes on a planner plan with many people.  I too hope that microsoft fixes this ASAP.... its really one of the most important features of a planning tool!

I completely agree. It doesn't seem to be on their roadmap though.
