GCCH – "Tasks in Teams" & Microsoft To Do

Brass Contributor

Back in November, Microsoft announced the new "Tasks in Teams" task management experience. The new app in Teams was demoed as bringing your tasks from Microsoft To Do and Planner into Teams. I have a couple questions:

  • When can we expect this functionality to arrive in GCC High tenants?
  • Microsoft To Do is still not supported/available for GCC High users. Is support for To Do on the roadmap?
    • The absence of To Do is currently a huge gap for those migrating off Commercial clouds and into GCCH due to compliance requirements (i.e. NIST, CMMC, etc.).

Hi - we're actively working on bringing Tasks in Teams to GCC customers. I don't have a specific timeline to share yet, but we hope to have an update in the near future.

As for the To Do GCC question I would recommend posting it in the To Do Tech Community.

Just to be clear, I am asking about GCC High, not GCC.

Please clarify your response for the appropriate platform. Thanks!
Is there any update on this for GCCH customers?
Is there any update on this for GCCH customers? There is no information about any potential offering for GCCH on the website

@Patrick Abel Here is an update I found on Microsoft's Roadmap website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Microsoft%20To%20Do

I've been waiting for a few years for the basic Microsoft To Do app to come to GCC. It says that Microsoft To Do is now out for General Availability for GCC as of 8/17/2022, however, I tried to sign in today and received the login prompt stating "This account isn't supported on iOS. It looks like you're using a type of account that isn't supported by To Do for iOS. Try using To Do online."

I'll give it a few days and try again. Sorry, I can't provide an update for Tasks for Teams.

@uhatcward Any updates? This is obviously of virtually no importance to Microsoft.
