We are very excited to announce an upcoming opportunity to 'Ask Microsoft Anything' (AMA) about Microsoft Planner! The AMA will take place in the Planner AMA space on March 14th 2018. Please submit your questions there.

  1.  A feature to send a status mail on a plan to users outside of planner,
  2. Ability to set due dates for the checklist
  3. Ability to make a master plan, and set members for sub plans, more or less like checklist, but with the feature to assign it to members
Right-click on Outlook email and send to Planner like OneNote currently allows.

If you have suggestions for Planner features such as @Jeremy Friesen @Kristian Krogstrup @Tony Derricott I'd recommend submitting to UserVoice. This is the best place to offer product suggestions as it gets reviewed regularly by the team.
