No way to continue after Employment Verification with no indication of issue or how to fix

Copper Contributor

We want to add our app to the Microsoft Store, the submission is ready however we cannot submit until the account has been verified.

In the Legal info section we have entered the company details and the process is stuck at Employment Verification.  Under rejected there is a clickable "Things to take care" which I assume displays the issues we need to resolve but which on clicking just makes the page jump a bit. We have no way to know how to proceed. Has anyone else encountered this?

We have create a ticket for help+support but a message appears saying "Not available for this support request." and a "There was a problem retrieving the support request details." .

What can we do?

@classermedia123 have you tried a different browser or an incognito window?

How many times have you tried to get verified? Does it show as rejected? If so, you will have to appeal to resubmit your verification.

Verify your account information | Microsoft Learn

@JillArmourMicrosoft Yeah we have every browser including edge and incognito.

We tried many times with the same results "reject". I saw other posts with the same issue, what are we mean to do?

Also this part "In Account Verification, from Select document type to upload, select the type of document that you want to upload for verification." doesn't appear, so it's nothing we can do after we keep clicking "fix"

Thanks

I have exact same situtation last 2 days. On the "Business verification" step it is stuck with rejection with no reason. I'm completely clueless what to do.

Also i was thinking that i must enroll into Microsoft Cloud Partner to be able to verify my company but after submitting all company's info it shows me an error:

@JillArmourMicrosoft

We're having the same bloody issue for weeks now.  We should open a Microsoft tenant for one our customers but cannot, because they claim the MPN agreement something isn't accepted.
In Partner Center we have two programs, both have the status "rejected" and a "fix now" button next to employment verification, but when clicking the button the dial just spins and everything goes back to pending.
Also opened a ticket with support, their first input was that general email-addresses like info@ are not allowed, so we changed that and are back on field one, still trying to "fix now", but nothing happens.
Support also has gone mute, so far no response.

This is really very, very annoying. We're trying to generate revenue for Microsoft but are blocked by some stupid process and broken websites.

I'm not sure what has changed in the partner onboarding / vetting process at Microsoft's side, but I'm seeing more and more discussions on here regarding 'failed employment verification' or other issues when trying to become a new Microsoft partner.

As a CSP Disti we also encounter a lot of issues when companies are trying to become a Microsoft partner and enroll for the MAICPP program. The vetting process almost always fails as Microsoft vetting team seems to block them, eventho valid documentation is provided.
I don't know why this process goes wrong so often. We get this fixed when we escalate to our PDM at Microsoft. But other than that, I have no idea.

Currently trying to onboard a new partner who also has a rejected status and trying to re-enroll for the program. Working on it for over 4 weeks now, still now approval from vetting team and the team hasn't replied over a week either.

Hope the vetting process gets improved in the future, as this causes a lot of issues for new partners.
We are having the same problems here. The Microsoft Support doesn't help also. Having contact with them for a whole month now and - nothing. I'm going to cancel the partnership-request
See my other post about this system being broken. Ive been a partner over 20 years, added CSP to my account which kicked off a re-verify which then fails. Been trying to fix this since October. I now have 16 days left before my Action Pack and licences expire, I cant renew as it wont let you if you are unverfified. I hold little hope this will be fixed in time and I will probably have to let my partner status expire, I dont want to but what else can I do? There is no way to contact the verification team, they dont repsond to emails and they wont let you know precisely what the error is. Its very depressing!
