Does anyone else have the issue where you have someone's contact information saved but when they send an email it displays another name? I work for a municipality and when I scroll through my incoming emails for some of my coworkers it'll show "- City Hall" or just their email address instead of their name. I have made sure that in their contacts it has their actual name as their display name, but that doesn't seem to translate over to emails. Is there anything I can do about this or is it something they need to change on their end? The only solutions I'm finding is how to change my own display name.
Outlook doesn't get the display names from the contacts - the sender sets it in their mail client, unless you are on Exchange server - then its set on the server, by the admin.
They will need to change the display name on their end.
