Using Translate Add-In on Server OS

We have an RDS installation in our environment which a number of our remote users work on. It is Windows Server 2016 with the latest Office 365 client software installed.

 

Recently updates were applied to the server and Office installation and since then, the Outlook Translate add-in has ceased to function.

 

It loads, but then nothing happens - the button is there and it looks like it tried to do something then just falls over and you get no translation returned.

 

Testing on a desktop computer with Windows 10 installed to the latest versions doesn't seem to cause a problem - so can anyone here help shed light on what's happening?
