OWA does not support booking meeting room on behalf of someone else

One of our Executive Assistants who has 'full-access' and 'send on behalf of' permissions to the executive's mailbox, is unable to find room resources when booking in the executive's calendar. This is occurring on the latest OWA.

 

They do the following:

  • "Open another mailbox" option in OWA and choose the executive's mailbox;
  • Select the executive's calendar and create a new event;
  • Using the Scheduling Assistant, select "Add room" - at this point the room suggestions list loading icon just spins and does not load;
  • When manually adding a room by name, it does not load the room availability;

 

The assistant is able to see the room resources in their own OWA account, and the executive is able to see the room resources in their own OWA account, but the EA is unable to see it for the executive's account.

 

This seems to be consistent behaviour across all accounts when using OWA.
