If you are on a PC try going to Control Panel, then select mail then show profile, then add a new profile.
After months of trying to get mine fixed with the microsoft support team, this is what I have to keep doing everytime I accidentally close my outlook on desktop.
The last agent today put me through the same steps as all the other agents, then told me to email back if it bombs again. It did bomb again.
Maybe this will fix yours permanently.
They also have a Microsoft Support and recovery Assistant. It goes through several steps and then will redo your profile for you.
Unfortunately I do not have where you go to upload it.
