Outlook search doesn't work after "new outlook" experience is activated by accident

I am running Outlook for Mac version 16.47 (21031401) and by accident I slided the "New Outlook" experience to on. I immediately turned it off again, but no my outlook search doesn't work anymore.

 

I already removed my outlook profile, added my mailboxes again, removed my profile folder from Spotlight so it would be indexed again, but untill now, no solution.

 

Does anyone know how to solve this issue as searching in my mailbox is a activity I perform several times a day :S
