Outlook Not Opening

Hi, I have been using outlook for years without fault. Yesterday i tried to open Outlook on my pc and it won't get past the Loading Profile screen. I have restarted pc and when i try again, it says open in safe mode, this won't go past the Loading Profile screen either. There is some sort of pop up flashing in the background when this is going on but so quickly there is no content to read. Can anyone help me please.

@LisaD1977 same thing has happened to me just recently.  I have uninstalled Office 365 and re-installed but no luck.  Can log in online and also on my mobile and Surface, just not on my PC.

@Jeffrey33950 Exactly the same. I waited and waited after installing again and appear to have it back, for now, but i'll update if anything changes.
