Outlook losing messages

Occasional Visitor

Two computers on the same network, both Win10.  One has Outlook configured as IMAP, the other as POP3, both going to the same email server.

 

At random times, a message will arrive and show up in the Inbox for the IMAP computer, but it will not show up on the POP3 computer.  How do I make the IMAP computer stop "hogging" the incoming messages?
