Outlook flags synch

Our business is soon going to start using Dynamics business central so am considering also moving over to outlook for our mail clients.

We did try this a few years ago but with our current mail client we can tag individual messages with a colour to indicate which staff member needs to take care of the email. When I tried this with outlook we discovered the flag colours were not synched across all various users.

Is this still true for the recent outlook's?

If so does anyone know a work around we could use to allot emails to individual users to deal with?
