I recently purchased the office package to get the apps to my computer, but when I opened the calendar in Outlook it looked very strange...(picture 1). Does anyone know how to change it to "default" (picture 2)?
Any help is highly appreciated, I have tried all the different settings I could find.
What exactly is "strange" about it? You can turn off the dark theme if that's what bothers you, show the left nav pane, enable the multipe timezone display, weather, etc. The highlighted area is your working hours, you can adjust those in the options dialog if needed. The search box is now located on top, and the rest is pretty much the same - you can use color categories, overlay stuff, etc.
