Outlook app blocks Activesync account setup with 3rd party domain emails ?

Hello, I am a happy Outlook android user, having my work emails sync with Exchange. 

 

I own a custom domain email for personal use (with zoho), and i am paying them for a premium service that allows Exchange ActiveSync with email apps. However when I set it all up in Outlook App, as Exchange account, the setup switches to either POP or IMAP, hence no calendar sync possible. I have talked with zoho technicians and they say the Outlook App is preventing this.

 

Is this true? Why? And how can I get around this? I'd really like to have both exchange accounts up and working on outlook and not have to find another app :(
