Outlook 2019 Junk Email

Copper Contributor

For as long as I can remember I have been using Outlook. When I changed to Outlook 2019, my Junk Email folder began receiving more junk than I ever could have imagined, an average of 100 per day sometimes less sometimes more. I have contacted Outlook Support dozens of times with no resolution. No matter what suggestion I'm given, I've either already tried it or it makes no difference. I receive porn junk emails and I am grateful I do not have grandchildren, particularly when the JUNK emails land in my INBOX which happened about a year ago, and then just as suddenly as it began it stopped. Today it started again, numerous junk emails in my Inbox. No matter how these emails are marked, block, spam, or phishing nothing changes.

No matter how many times I've changed my password, nothing changes. Two-step authentication makes no difference.

Hi, to check if this is just a problem Outlook -> add your account to the application (mail for Windows10) if you continue to receive garbage, it is not a bad configuration, but another problem (maybe it's malware that you installed accidentally)

Hello @Andzej1,

I cannot find the application mail for Windows 10. I've done a search in This PC and the Microsoft Store. I probably deleted it somehow.

Microsoft Defender is on and I also use Trend Micro Maximum Security and there is no malware to be found on my PC.

If you have any ideas on how I can get to mail for Windows 10 I would be happy to follow your suggestion, and by the way, I have tried different ways of entering the search for Windows 10 mail.

Thank you

I checked out the link for mail and calendar. Firstly, I'm not sure why I would need this, and secondly, I went through numerous reviews I would say 98% rated this app with 1 or 2 stars. I surely don't need more problems than I already have. Do you use this app? If so, what has your experience been and why do you use it?

Thanks

I recommended - Because on many computers I have checked this Microsoft product and it works great as a simple mail application (I have not had any problems for many years)
