Opening a shared calendar adds it to the list at the side but doesn't open it - Office 365 desktop

When a couple of users search for other people's calendars eg mine, it will go straight to the list of calendars at the side, and then they need click to beside my name for it to open in the centre.  Usually it would have opened in the centre straightaway.  

Not happening for me, but it is happening for a couple of people.

Any idea?

Turns out if you have too many listed at the side, they won't open automatically.
