Opening PDF attachments in New Outlook 365 to default PDF viewer

To open PDF attachments in Outlook 365 using your default PDF viewer, you typically have two options:

  1. Open the attachment in your default PDF viewer directly from Outlook:

    • Double-click the PDF attachment in your Outlook email.
    • Outlook will download the attachment and offer options to view or save it.
    • Click on "View" or "Open" (depending on your Outlook version).
    • The PDF file will then open in your default PDF viewer.
  2. Save the PDF attachment to your computer and then open it with your default PDF viewer:

    • Right-click on the PDF attachment in your Outlook email.
    • Select "Save As" or "Save Attachment" and choose a location to save the file on your computer.
    • Once the file is saved, navigate to its location on your computer.
    • Double-click the saved PDF file to open it with your default PDF viewer.
