Meeting request is missing from organizers calendar can't cancel meeting

Copper Contributor

I have a meeting that is missing from my calendar but all the attendees can see it. Now I want to try and cancel this one as I have setup a new meeting, but I am unable to cancel the missing meeting

I am an independent advisor responding to Outlook questions.

You can see if the calendar event was saved in your Sent folder and also check the Deleted and Recovery Deleted folders.

If you can not find the original event, you are unable to cancel the event.

Refresh and try this steps given below-
Locate the meeting on your calendar, and then double-click the meeting to open it.

On the Organizer Meeting or Meeting tab, click Cancel.

Cancel a meeting button

Note: If the meeting is recurring, the Cancel button is a menu with the options to delete the single Occurrence or the Series.

If you want to, type a message to the invitees in the message window.

On the Organizer Meeting or Meeting tab, click Send Cancellation.

The first line of the OPs query said that the meeting is not on the calendar. Can't exactly "Locate the meeting on your calendar, and then double-click the meeting to open it" if the whole point is that it isn't on the calendar. This seems to be an ongoing issue, if you can tell us how to locate the missing meeting that isn't showing on our calendar, that would be great.
