For quite a while now, items that I have deleted and have gone to my trash folder keep disappearing. When I first noticed this happening, I created a new folder, deleted saved, and made a point to move items from trash to deleted saved about once a week where they would remain until I permanently deleted them. I noticed that it was happening when it got to about 100-125 items in trash. Now it's not even lasting a week or up to 100 items. Unless I can remember to do this daily, which is ridiculous, it's going to keep happening. I have already checked "do not archive items in this folder" and I have NEVER checked the "empty deleted items folder when exiting outlook". Why is this happening and what can be done to fix it? The outlook support person referred me to this forum for help because she didn't know what to do. I never want items removed from any outlook folders unless I remove them manually. Any help will be appreciated but I'm not a computer geek so keep it simple.
