We have a client who has given instructions to their users on how to insert a hosted banner image into their email signatures. This allows the marketing team to update the hosted banner image to promote new things without the individual user having to change anything on their signature. It works well for this purpose, however the client tells me that previously they were able to have this image be automatically clickable, without the user needing to hyperlink the image after they insert it.
Is this possible at all?
I have tried putting the image up on a HTML page but then I can't insert the image into the signature using that url - presumably b/c Outlook is looking for a hosted image, not an HTML page.
