Indexing running for more than 2 hours, Please help

I started searching within the Outlook app using a specific word. The app returned one email, however there are at least 100 items with this word therein. I started the Outlook Indexer and it has been searching for more than 2 hours now. What is wrong and how do I fix it?

Give it some time, depending on the size of your mailbox/local cache, it can take a while to index all the content. In the meantime, you can try searching via the webmail, if your email provider supports such.

@Vasil MichevHi Vasil, thank you.  However at the moment the search function constantly returns the answer "No Result", even if one of the items is sitting right there in the inbox?
