Incident Notifications for IT Admins in Outlook

Microsoft

Hello all!

Today we have a new feature for Office Insider IT admins on Windows in the Current Channel (Preview). Aarti Nankani, a PM on the Office Release and Deliver Experiences team, is excited to announce the availability of Incident Notifications in Outlook. This new feature will keep administrators informed about ongoing incidents within the tenant and provide status updates when they become available. Learn more about this feature in our latest blog post.

Since this pane shows up in an individual users mailbox, does that mean the pane will only show up if the addresses in the M365 message center preferences for notifications are user accounts?

I expect it wouldn't work with DLs, but if we use shared MB or an O365 group email address, will the pane still show up in the individual users' outlook clients?

Further to your post on this topic I have to report that the disable tick box for the above in Outlook Options, advanced has no effect.
