Hello
Im just looking for clarification really on this matter. If I receive an encrypted email with attachments that has been encrypted via Purview to a shared mailbox I have full rights to. Can my account open the attachments in office (if it was a word document) or does the office license have to belong to the shared mailbox?
I ask this as I have a user that is receving encrypted emails to a shared mailbox that has word attachments. But when they view it; they are unable to download and open the attachment as it says they do not have permission to do so. Is this because the email was sent to the shared mailbox so only the shared mailbox can download and open office?
OS: Windows 10
Application: Outlook 365
TIA
