Emails from certain users have black background. Outlook 2016

I'm working an issue where emails from certain users are coming in with a black background like someone changed the page color to black. It seems like the issue is when an email is forwarded from a mac or an iPhone it comes in dark. Is there a way to disable page color change across the board? Or does anyone have any other things I can check to resolve this issue? I've showed a few users how to change the page color back to normal but we need this to stop completely.

@JacobPeterson we are experiencing the same thing. However, we noticed it doesn't matter if it comes from an iPhone, etc.; it has to do with HTML emails. This is not going to be helpful for you but wanted to let you know you are not alone. We also have this issue with the MS Outlook desktop client program from 2016, 2019, DBS, etc. There is not much out there yet about this problem. We will see if Microsoft replies. To Microsoft, if you read this, yes, we have reinstalled, uninstalled, repaired, and they have the latest updates. This appears to be a bug.

We have found if you open and close the email or navigate away from it in the reading pane or open and close Outlook about 2-3 times the background will appear as normal.
