Easy way to sync calendars on multiple platforms?

Copper Contributor

Hello,

Is there an easy way to sync calendars across platforms? I work at an NGO with a lot of volunteers that seldomly check their Office365 accounts. We could improve our efficiency a lot if there would be a simple way to sync group and personal calendars with the multiple private calendars that the volunteers use.

We already found two methods:

1. On Android phones, you can simply add an account in settings. However, many people do not want to give permissions to Microsoft about their phone's data, which you have to do if you want to sync your calendar using this method.

2. Another method would be to use two flows: One for "Office365 calendar" to "private calendar" sync and one for "private calendar" to "Office365 calendar". This solution is the one with which we are using right now. However, there is no possibility to accept or cancel events using this method which is a major drawback.

It would be great if anyone knows a solution to this problem!

I have an Office365 account and sync my Outlook Calendar over to my Google Calendar using Microsoft Flow. I use a pre built Flow template that copies any new entry in Outlook Calendar across to Google although if I then delete the Outlook instance it doesn't get deleted in Google Calendar. Not sure how it might work for multiple accounts, you may need to create a Flow for each individual account but might be worth investigating in that area to see if there's a solution.
