Contact Search something went wrong

Hi,

 

We have encountered a strange issue with Outlook.

Have the latest version of Outlook installed and just set up users on Azure Virtual Desktop.

 

We are encountering issues with Contact Search, E-mail searching seems to be fine. Whenever someone tries to do a contact search it gives an error that "Something went wrong and your search couldn't be completed".

 

I've made sure Search service is enabled, repaired office. Tried it with all addins disabled and even in Safe mode but the error still persists. 

 

The only time it seems to work if I put outlook into online mode and turn cached exchange mode off.

 

The environment does use FSLogix, so as a test i disabled FSLogix and let it load a local account, issue was the same.  

 

Any other checks I can make, its strange its just contact as e-mail searches seem to work fine.

@KevHal Yes encountered a strange issue with Outlook.

I've made sure Search service is enabled.

I've made sure the Search Service is enabled. So not sure why it is erroring.
