Cannot send emails to AOL or Yahoo

Copper Contributor

Hi, for months I have not been able to send email to either AOL or Yahoo email address. Every other one works.

Is there a fix for this?

Thanks

When Office 365 tried to send your message, the receiving email server outside Office 365 reported an error.

  Policy violation or system error

How to Fix It
Check the "Reported Error" from the "Error Details" section shown below for more information about the problem. The error might tell you what went wrong and how to fix it. For example, if the error states that the message was blocked due to a potential virus or because the message was too large, try sending the message again without attachments.
If you're not able to fix the problem, it's likely that only the recipient's email admin can fix it. Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and ask them to tell their email admin about the problem. Give them the "Reported Error" from the "Error Details" section below.

@Liam_Hayward

Did you get resolution? If so, how did you resolve? I am having the same issue! It only started when I upgraded to Windows 11.

Thanks

@Csebold I’m having same issue. Tried sending emails to all my clients and all with aol or yahoo emails got returned.

@Roamphotos I’m having the same issue with aol and yahoo addresses. Occasional bounce backs go into junk a few days later. I’ve checked and my domain isn’t on any spam lists.

I am having the same problem. Has anyone resolved this?

@mailconceptonenmcom I contacted Microsoft support and they helped resolve the issue.

I have my own domain and hadn’t got SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up on my settings. With all these missing some emails had been flagged as spam and more recently weren’t getting to AOL or Yahoo at all. Now they’re set up emails seem to be getting through ok.

I@MikeLDN   who did you call.. when I called I couldnt get to a human..Not clear to me how you fixed it

@_jap108 I logged onto my account and clicked on through to support. I explained the issues and they followed up and offered a phone call.

I have a friend who is a MS Office employee. What I found out is that they are aware of the problem but have no plan to fix it. Aol / Yahoo/ Hotmail are no longer supported and so they are not working for a fix... @MikeLDN
