Is there a way to modify this behaviour or turn it off completely? We send a lot of SharePoint files in outlook but due to privacy we cannot have the file names appearing in the email. This means every time we do we have to manually edit the hyperlink. Even worse is that when you paste the link normally and it changes the link text to the file name we can no longer edit it. Instead we have to type our link text, highlight, right click, Link, paste link in the address box and OK.
Okay, fine, it's only a few extra steps, but it gets forgotten a lot and then we have file names being sent in the body of the email. Any suggestions?
