Cache Mode for Shared Mailbox

Copper Contributor

We utilize a number of shared mailboxes for my organization.  These mailboxes receive a lot of email and have become quite large.  Is there a way for users who have access to the shared mailboxes in the Outlook desktop application to set their own mailbox in cache mode and the shared in non-cache mode? The shared mailboxes are taking up much of the free space on the computers.

Thanks!

You can toggle the "download shared folders" option in the Account settings dialog. Better yet, you can configure the shared mailbox as additional account (File > Add account > enter *your* credentials when prompted), then set it to Online mode or play with the cache slider as needed.
