Account already exists

Dear all,

 

I have added a new account to my outlook desktop app on a Mac and I cannot see the new account anymore, but when I try to add it again I see the error message "account already exists". I was previously logged in in a browser with the same account, so I logged out and tried again without success, then I deleted and downloaded the outlook app again (it works well on my other devices), but the error always appears. I don't know what to do at this point, can anyone help me?
