365 calendar on Outlook informs on location change hours after meeting was create

Copper Contributor

Using corporate 365 subscription. Outlook on Mac - havent tried on Windows. Other Mac users reports of same.

I schedule a meeting with Teams in it. Send it out.

Then some apparently random number of hours lates I get a notification from Apple Calandar (which I use to see joint view of private and company calendars in):

   "meetingtitle" (in bold)

Location changed to Microsoft Teams Meeting (translated from my language)

Its a minor issue, but trying to reduce number of notifications and scheduling 1-5 meeting a day (yeah, to many).

I have basic notifications added so i get informed of meetings to go to now and invites from others.

Why am I alerted about a change in the meeting "to Teams" where there is no change?

What happens to the meeting which makes Apple calendar believe it is a change.

same here, it seems to be triggered when someone accepts the meeting invitation
Same issue and agree it's triggered when someone accepts? Is this more of an Apple Calendar issue?

same issue here, only happens in the apple calendar
