Hi everybody,

we are having problems working together in teams with OCM. I started evaluating it for myself and we would now like to incorporate more team members. When new team members now join the sales group, they only see their own contacts but none of the shared contacts of other people. So basically everybody can just use it locally.

When I first started using OCM, it created an O365 Group with the name allsalesteam-longstring@company.com. We then changed the name of the group and the group-id to sales@company.com to make usable. I have no idea if this is somehow related to this issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cord -- OCM is using O365 group to facilitate sharing (sharing files and sharing contacts/customers/deals). When a user is opening OCM for the first time, OCM automatically adds the user as a member to the group. Note that shared contact only supported for OCM users -- namely if you add a member to the group and the added member never use OCM, the shared contacts will not appear to the added member. Finally, you can rename the group name but you can't change the group smtp address. OCM look for the specific group smtp address for sharing.

Hi Cord,

Have you checked Welly's reply?

Thanks,

Thanks for your response, Welly. Do you know if it is possible to manage more than one OCM groups per organization? My company has more than one sales group and having a merged application would make it unusable for us.

Cheers!
