Unable to bulk delete OCM records and import is duplicating the records

Despite of following all steps in postings related to Bulk Delete of OCM records, I am unable to delete them.

 

Also each import of same record, is adding it as a new record instead of overriding the existing one. Does any one know the solution to these OCM issues?

Hi Hakki,

 

The OCM contacts are stored as normal Outlook contacts.

 

So, you can bulk delete contacts under Outlook 2016 People tab.

Then, you can filter the contact you want and remove them.

As a tip, please back up all Outlook contacts before doing this to avoid mistaken deletion.

Thank you for your reply. I have deleted the contacts from Outlook, but they are still showing up in OCM. I think once a contact has been imported into OCM as a business contact, it exists separately from Outlook.

 

I deleted all IE caches and OCM contacts are still there. The duplication is a big issue, since OCM does not seem to recognize contacts with same email and also companies with same names. It is really a mess to clean up the data once it is imported in OCM. I am hoping this gets addresses quickly, otherwise OCM is not something I would recommend to anybody.
