I get this message when trying to add new contacts and companies via the OCM tab. I'm the first in my company to try using the OCM; we hoped to be able to roll this out to everyone.

 

I've seen vague references to clearing IE or Edge caches, which I've done. Any other suggestions as to what is causing this?

Hi Stephen,

 

It may be a transient issue. Could you try to create a contact in Outlook->people, and it will be synced to OCM. After that, you can see the details in OCM for contact.

I'm not sure what you mean by "transient issue."

 

I can indeed add an Outlook contact and have it show up in OCM. However, I am unable to see Companies that I added to OCM. I have started today others in my organization on adding company information into OCM. One is able to see the companies that I added, the rest cannot see them. One is unable to see anything shared by anyone else. 

 

We are all in the same Office 365 group with OCM for our organization. To be charitable, this add-on is buggy. It's unusable in its current form.

I am also having this issue. Was able to add 5 contacts but no more. Each one I try cannot be saved. I was really hoping to use this add-on.

Outlook Customer Manager unusable.

 

reloaded, rebooted, Cache cleaned,  IT staff can't work it out, no information online. Esentially useless

 

Transient?? short lived? Very vauge response.

 

We purchased 365 because this was advertised as being part of the package. It dosent work. False advertising.

I have been using OCM since January. Just recently when adding or changing companies from Private to shared I get the error message "Sorry, we had an error and couldn't update. Please try again." All other fields are updating. I have cleared the cache, restarted the computer... Thinking about turning off OCM and then turning back on but not sure if any data will get lost?? any other ideas?
